Test drive Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on computer


Right after Google released the source code of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, Android-x86 project was quick to make a test build of jb-x86 based on Android 4.3 available for public to download. The Android-x86 project aim is to port Android to various x86 platforms.

The key features of Test build 20130725 for Android-x86 4.3:
  • Upgrade to the latest kernel 3.10.2 to support more drivers.
  • Upgrade Mesa OpenGL ES library to 9.2-devel branch to support hardware acceleration for AMD Radeon and Intel chipsets (not included chips with PVR).
  • Support Bluetooth.
  • Support arm translator.

Please note that since this is a test build, you might find bugs or incomplete features.
