Back on September 2010, the telcos were the only official resellers to offer iPhone in Malaysia. The iPhone 4 was short of supply due to high demand. This time it seems the telcos are managing well on the iPhone 4S stock, we don't see many out-of-stock complains in everywhere like those days anymore. The Malaysia Online Apple Store are selling iPhone too. I ordered an iPhone 4S from there and they delivered it to me in less than 3 days! The reasons behind this could be Apple has improved their supply chain in South East Asia allowing them and resellers to have adequate stock. Another reason could be the rise of competitors specially the Android smartphone. Or, most Malaysians who own iPhone 4 don't think iPhone 4S is worth for upgrade because of the identical form.

iPhone 4S has 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models. It takes 1080p HD video, 1 minute of video recording could consumes up to 200MB in size and high-end iOS games like Infinity Blade 2 takes 1.1GB. If you are hardcore gamer and like shooting videos, 16GB model will run out of storage really quick. 32GB and 64GB models are better fit for these tasks.
